Neratec Solutions AG becomes Westermo Neratec AG

It is almost exactly a year since Neratec was acquired by Westermo. During this period, the focus has been on how to provide additional customer value together. The combined know-how, worldwide sales and support offices and distribution partners, and comprehensive product portfolio create the world’s strongest wireless and wired data communications offer to the rail industry. 

Westermo is a well-established brand, with the company providing industrial data communication networks since 1975. The Neratec brand has become synonymous with high quality and cutting-edge wireless technology. To take advantage of these two strong brands and reaffirm that Neratec is part of the Westermo Group, Neratec Solutions AG will change its name to Westermo Neratec AG and use the `Robust Industrial Data Communications - Made Easy’ motto. 

The Neratec team under the leadership of CEO Jussi Harju remains unchanged. All contracts and agreements with Neratec Solutions AG remain fully valid after the name change. 

Going forward, all existing Neratec products will gradually adopt the Westermo product branding, except for specific OEM solutions, which will remain unchanged. The products will feature the Westermo steel blue colour and be marketed as a specific Westermo product line. 

The preparation for the first joint product launch is currently ongoing, so keep your eyes open for a new exciting wireless product from Westermo.
