Rapid incident response

With technology changing rapidly, no company is immune from product vulnerability. We understand that effective incident management is critical. 

To remain at the forefront of new developments Westermo have a dedicated a PSIRT (Product Security Incident Response Team) ready to rapidly respond to any reported vulnerabilities. As well as reacting to reports we also actively monitor the marketplace for CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) that could affect our products in any way.

All vulnerabilities are quickly assessed and necessary advisories published online. Since all Westermo networking devices run the same operative system, WeOS, we can distribute updates and security patches faster than most other manufacturers on the market. When a firmware update is required Westermo customers can rely on our network management tool WeConfig to help patch equipment in the most rapid and secure way.
